Roofus: Roofs are designed to be exposed to the elements. To save yourself costs of repairing or replacing your roof, we recommend performing a general inspection on your roof at least twice a year. These inspections will help you spot the problems early and make repairs if necessary. In addition to the inspections, we recommend keeping your roof clean by removing any debris and checking for mildew and mold.

Hey Roofus! What's the difference between 25 year and 30 year shingles?

Roofus: 30 year shingles are heavier than 25 year shingles. In laminated architectural-type shingles, the former weighs between 265 and 310 pounds per 100 square feet, while the latter weighs between 235 and 265 pounds per 100 square feet. Their thickened state makes the 30 year shingle much more durable.
